Windrush Warrior is a song that addresses the plight of deportation faced by West Indian immigrants who started arriving in England in the late 1940s, many of whom traveled on the ship “Empire Windrush” which is now referred to as the Windrush era.

My Right to Love You – Baby Baby
This self produced reggae smash! “Baby Baby” (my right to love you ) is a 4 version, Lovers reggae EP. An absolute gem, on which Ray delivers a scintillating, soul baring performance, telling a tale, of the perils of infidelity, and a woman scorned.
Violating her trust, hence crossing the line of no return, she terminates their relationship, despite his efforts to make amends. Resigned to his fate of rejection, he expresses the solitary right to which he holds the key, his right to continue loving her regardlessly. Ray’s warm and rich tenor complimented by a tasty and solid brass led rhythm section is reminiscent of The Wailers “One Drop”.
